I purchased my Dyson DC20 Animal Pro in 2008, since having the hoover i have not had a problem with built up pet hair anywhere in my home, i have 3 cats all of which malt lots! I am very particular about the cleanliness of my house so having a decent hoover is a must have, this one certainley does the job above and beyond my expectations, this hoover has plenty of suction and has multi tools for carpets and rugs and for laminate,wood, tile etc flooring. The pet hair multi tool, the Turbo Tool which has extra power, is amazing, you wouldnt want to get your fingers caught up in there when it gets going! You can use it on thick carpets and rugs to ensure a deep clean of even the most embeded of pet hairs, it is very powerful.

The only downside to this hoover is ive had to have the motor replaced twice in the last 4 years of having it, you do get 5 years warrenty so lukily Dyson come out to your home free of charge and replace/fix any problem you have with the hoover, im not sure why the motor burnt out the Dyson repair man said to me it is just one of those things that happens over time with the Dysons, i guess i do use mine quite alot, certainly every day so i suppose there woud be more ware and tear on the different parts.

Over all though i do love this hoover and couldnt live without it!
