What a machine (Dyson DC01)

I have just purchased a Dyson DC01 and what can I say .. what a machine !

Okay, plus points, I could never have imagined how dusty my carpets were until I used the dyson. Previously I had been using a wet and dry Aquavac thing, which was not bad, although a bit annoying as it kept falling over when pulled around the house. Upon getting the dyson i could not believe what had been missed. The first time that I pushed the dyson round the floor I managed to fill the dust collector !!! eek gads, and it keeps on going .....

The dyson has excellent accessories, very long flexible hose that will reach from the bottom to the top of the stairs, although could do with a small flat head for cleaning the stair way as the upholstery head given is a little innapropriate. Also very long power cord, I can manage to vacum the whole floor from just one plug socket (plus a bit of throwing power cord over furniture).

On the minus side the dyson is very heavy and takes quite a bit of work to manouver, so certainly not suitable for the elderly or infirm and can be a bit trivky to put together ... need to make sure that everything clicks into place.
