4 dogs and so much hair!

2 years ago I bought the DC01. I had vacuumed that morning, but wanted to try out the new Dyson. What a shock!

I don't know if they purposfully show you the grit and grime in order to make you realise just how filthy your house is, or if it actually makes the suction power greater! Either way, the DC01 transformed my home!

The Dyson tackled everything that was not meant to be on, in or beneath the carpet with ease.

I cannot fault the ability of this hoover, however, the hose had a few problems. The handle of the hoover is situated in the hose and you remove it from its casing when you want to use it.

This was awkward to use and the hose eventual tore. Just after a year of having it the power went totally.

I managed to contact Dyson very quickly. No phone queues, and the line was answered immediately. They came out that week and gave the Dyson a service. They replaced with power cable and the hose with modified parts....they had obviously had this problem before.

The repair man was efficient and went beyond the call of duty. He didn't just repair what he had been told to, but made sure that the DC01 was in tip top condition.

The changes in design on the hose have made the use easier and has kept the suction power more consitent.

I love this vacuum!
