When a lot of friends had bought the DC01 we were really impressed with the amount of dust being collected from the house. The suction was amazing at all times, and for an upright it was very easy to clean the stairs. By the time we bought one the DC04 was out and we decided to buy the absolute version.

The DC04 differs from the 01 by having a see through hoze, to check for blockages, a couple of bits that come off to check for blockages, and the tools that are stored on the top do not fall off as much as the DC01. It is also more powerful , and has a hard floor setting.

It is great fun to use, as you know and can see the difference it is making.
