Whoaarr !!!! What a cleaner ! It sucks like a bitch ! Got a bit carried away there but boy oh boy! I?ve got a DC04 De Stilj which is a beautiful shade of purple and red with a subtle addition of a bit of yellow. I have never known anything like it. The machine itself is very tactile, it is flexible and responds to the touch well. The directability of the appliance is impressive. For a big machine it exhibits a nimbleness that Nureyev would have been proud of. The addition of a number of tools adds to the flexibility of the product. You?ve got a nozzel to get into those tight little cracks, a firm head to reach those difficult corners and a palm sized soft bristled bushy brush for doing the curtains. As a cleaner, it has been pushed as never losing it?s sucking capacity. This is achieved by a complex series of vortices (currents of air). Add to this, the lifetime guaranteed filters that can reduce all pollutants such as pollen and house dust-might and the reinforcing nature of a revolutionary product you will never go wrong with the DC04. The De Stilj model also comes with a more traditional head attachment found on cylinder cleaners. This is great for doing the stairs !! If you have got the money spare ? Go invest in a Dyson? It's now Dec 2002 - I am still in love with my Dyson ! Another year with my trustworthy filly. She has not let me down. The things she can do! Although, I still rate it's performance, I have been a tad irritated by the tools dropping off whenever you move the thing. It is still remarkably quiet though it doesn't even wake the baby and the action - well is still mindblowing!
