After years of hard slog with a cylinder hoover I treated myself to a super Dyson Zorbster DC04 at approximately £300.00. The Zorbster features:

* None of the drawbacks of wet cleaning

This cleaner comes in a purple and grey colour.

After unpacking I found that I had one part missing so I immediately contacted Dyson and found the customer service to be excellent. I received my missing part within 3 days. Now I could get to work.

The hoover was easy to assemble and not too heavy as with other uprights. On cleaning one of my carpets I got a total shock. Was my carpet really that dirty? The shock was so great that I immediately vacuumed the whole house. I have a dog and there was a distinct difference in the amount of dog hairs sucked up. You can see exactly how much dirt and grime you have sucked up through the clear cylinder at the front of the hoover. This cylinder is easily removable and you have no need for bags.

The extendable hose which you use to hoover the stairs is of great benefit. No more struggling with the hoover on the stairs. The hose does reach easily to the top and you can vacuum with ease.

The hoover comes with tools that attach to it so you need never lose them, although I find one of the tools is quite difficult remove once attached. These tools are useful for cleaning furniture and curtains, to reach into the corners and behind items of furniture.

The hoover comes with easy to use instructions which includes how to wash the filters and assembling the Dyson. It also comes with a 2 year guarantee which you can extend to 5 years for a cost of 55.00 pounds.

One of the main snags with this hoover is that it doesn't get into the corners so yo
u need to take the pipe out and use one of the attachments to clean, which can be a bit of a pain.

However, I find I don't need to hoover so much, and also, as an allergy sufferer, I find I don't sneeze from the dust around the house nearly so much.

The Zorbster cleaning powder is also extremely handy at removing stains on the carpet and as it is a dry cleaner, you are not left with wet carpets which can start to smell musty.
