We?ve had our Dyson DC05 vacuum cleaner for a while now. When our vacuum went wrong it wasn?t a hard choice to make especially since we had seen the quality of the product first hand (our friend lent us theirs for the couple of days we didn?t have a vacuum)
So, I can remember when we went to buy it. The sales assistant didn?t need to do much selling and for the first time I can remember my parents handing over nearly £300 without complaining.

The features of the Dyson DC05 were really good, it claimed to be ?the most powerful cylinder with no loss of suction?. You didn?t have to buy any filters or empty any bags. Its includes a brush bar which improves pet hair or fibre pick up. A great feature if you have animals. The rotating brush bar picks up hairs as you vacuum.

I was surprised at just how light the vacuum cleaner was. As a result it was very easy to move around and because it picked up mess first time round, I realised that it reduced the time you spent vacuum cleaning. All of a sudden vacuuming wasn?t such a bad chore. The best bit was being able to do the stairs with it as it sits on your stairs.

The vacuum also looks good it comes in silver/yellow or purple. We got the silver/yellow one. It looks really compact with all it?s heads and brushes stuck on to it. The last vacuum cleaner we had, the parts were not attached and as a result a few of them got mislaid or rather lost. So, now when we vacuum the car we can chose which brush head for a specific part of the car. So, it?s not only the house that has benefited from the Dyson.

If you do decide to buy this product you will get a two year guarantee with an option to extending it for five years. That will cost you about a £100 but you can pay it in instalments. There?s also the Dyson helpline incase you have difficulty with your purchase. The only problem is national rate phone numbers!

The Dyson DC05 is also adjustable to hard floors or carpets
to pick up even more dirt. The results are good and your carpet looks very clean. I do still think it is a touch expensive and there were other Dyson vacuums cheaper but you can?t complain that much because it does work extremely well.
