Advantages: Great floor cleaner, picks up loads of dirt

When we moved into our new home one of our must have purchases was a dyson vacuum cleaner because we had heard so many people telling us how great they were.

We opted for the DC07 which is the basic model. This was for a number of reasons, the biggest being price.

The dyson DC07 is yellow and grey in colour and so it stand out straight away as being a dyson cleaner. The dyson is a bagless cleaner and all the dust and dirt is collected in a clear plastic bin which is attached to the cleaner. This means that as you are cleaning you can see exactly how much dirt and dust has been collected. The clear plastic bin is very easy to detach from the vacuum cleaner and empty into the rubbish bin.

The vacuum cleaner has a filter built into the cleaner which means that it is a very good vacuum cleaner for people who suffer with allergies. The filter has to be cleaned monthly but that is really easy to do. All you have to do is run it under water.

The vacuum cleaner can be used in two different ways. It can be run accross the floor like a conventional vacuum cleaner and the dirt and dust that is collected falls in to the plastic bin. You can also use the wand attachment to clean the sides of the rooms or furniture. Attached to the vacuum cleaner are three smaller attachments that can be fitted onto the end of the hose and can be used for different cleaning jobs.

Dyson also manufacture other attachments that can be bought seperately to fit onto the end of the hose.

Summary: Everyone needs a dyson.
