Dyson have become famous for their bagless vacuum cleaners. They still have a reputation for being the best cleaners because of their bagless - no loss of suction claim, although in reality most vacuum cleaners on the market currently use the same technology. After several year of buying cheaper hoovers, I finally succumbed and purchased a Dyson. The bactisafe screen to kill bacteria, hospital - level hepa filter and many other claims were all great selling points for a house with 3 small children and a pet. I excitedly got my new cleaner home, unpacked it and started a thorough clean of the house..... it was one of thoses typical moments where glee mixes with shame! ----<Dyson DC07>---- If all household appliances were this gadgety I think 80% of house work would be done by men, or is that wishful thinking?. I bought one of these for my "Partner" and don't think she's ever had the chance to use it yet. This vacuum cleaner is fantastic in most aspects! My family and I have had it and used it for four years now and we haven't had any technical problems with it and it is still working as though it was new (use it 2-3 times a week for the whole house). The really cool thing about it is that you can see everything that you have hoovered up in the see through cylinder. The suction power on it is really good and it picks up dust that cant always be seen really well. The one draw back about this particular dyson is that it is heavy, for example I do struggle to carry it up and down the stairs. This is now my third dyson, each one I have owned has lasted some two and a half years, that might not seem very long to most people but each one was used twice daily. I am coming up to that time period again but as of yet no problems.... This is my favourite dyson due to the considerable amounts of design changes there has been over the years most noticebly is the balance of the upright dyson. I can now hoover the kitchen tiled floor without it wanting to pull over and scream at you in a very high pitched noise.
