We have just got one of these vacuum cleaners and I highly recommend it to all pet owners. The cleaner itself is 45% more powerful than the original Dyson and you can feel the suction power! It has lifetime filters so you never have to change them and emptying it is done at the touch of a button. It is, of course, bag-less so no more buying new bags! It has adjustable brushes so you don’t damage delicate floors – useful for laminate flooring or rugs.

The Dyson DCO7 is purple and silver and is very attractive – far more than normal cleaners. The tools all fit onto the main body so you have them to hand when needed. They slot on the handle which lifts out for reaching awkward areas. The Animal Turbo Tool is what makes it different to other DCO7s. It is specially designed for removing pet hair and is very effective. It is great on stairs and other places that pets get to and shed fur on like chairs and beds.

Overall the Dyson DCO7 Animal is quite expensive, even by Dyson standards. It is great value though – it is vastly superior in power terms, has a good range of tools and accessories and looks stylish. It will last for years and goes some way to making cleaning fun! If you have pets that shed everywhere and want a good bag-less vacuum cleaner then this is for you.
