We bought this vacuum about 2 weeks ago having had the motor burnt out again for the third time on the Hoover vortex v2000. We were going to go for a cheaper vacuum around £100 but decided to go for the Dyson DC07 after testing one. We bought it at Tesco.com Not beating around the bush, here are the good and bad points about it : Good points: 1. Very good suction. Lots better than the Hoover vortex v2000 2. Better manoeuvrability than the Hoover. 3. Emptying the bin is very straight forward and clean. 4. The animal attachment is a must for people with pets !. It used to take ages hoovering up the cat hair on her bed but now it take seconds. The brushes on the attachment spin round very fast so have to be careful on delicate material. 5. The cable is very long hence does not need to unplug it much as you vacuum Bad points: 1. The wand is clumsy to use because it?s abit long and the hose is not flexible enough to expand it easily. The Hoover Vortex was much better for this. 2. It?s fairly heavy but the same as the Hoover I used to have. I have given it 4 stars because the hose attachment could be better Overall, I would say it?s worth paying the extra money for a better product. Hope that helps you to make your choice.
