Advantages: Reliable, but when you need help, customer services are excellent

This is my second Dyson: the first one lasted for years, and then got given to a friend. And the reason I would ALWAYS buy Dyson's is because their customer service is second to none. Apparently, when you phone the number (on the actual appliance, so need to hunt it down), the person you speak to has built a Dyson vaccum cleaner themselves, from scratch, so they know what they are talking about. Because I am disorganised and can never find where I carefully stored the receipt, it helps that they can either work out when the machine was bought from the serial number, or else if they've got your details logged, they can figure whether you are in warranty or not. I've not had to phone for years, as the machines are pretty reliable. It cleans well, the tools are on the machine so they are hassle free, and I like the large head that works on wooden floors.
