Advantages: Good cleaner
Disadvantages: A pain to change for different cleaning tasks
I think this is about one the oldest Dysons you can still buy at around £150
Being pretty basic with its old 4 wheel design, it is still pretty good.
Pros: A large storage container for dirt, so you don't have to empty it so often.
A strong motor, sucking more from you floors and carpets making them cleaner.
The extendable hose, of which the top handle is used and it really goes far, the length the hose extends is amazing.
Brush control, which actaully brushes your carpet for you as well.
The tools are quite good and are all stores in slots on the Dyson, making them there for when you need them
With the Dyson you get a free 5 year parts and labor guarantee
Cons: Chunky, so it does weigh quite a bit, luckily, it has a handle lower down on top of the dirt container to make it easier to carry.
Noisy, I think with most Dysons they are quite noisy.
The head that sits on the floor has to be tapped with your foot to make it meet the floor when you tip the body back.
The whole body seams to quite hard to change around, so when you take the hose out, it can be a game to get it all back.
Summary: Good cleaner, but quite complex

- 27/05/09 Good all round review here. I think you mean "extendable," and "seems" instead of "expendable," and "seams" though.
How much was this when you bought it? |
