... way up the stairs but just doesn't quite get there. Whilst it is a good Vac I have one major problem with it. It's to heavy. Pushing it around the carpet as you do is not the easiest thing to do when your tiered. It is just that bit to heavy to make it easy to use in small corners. If your off up the stairs you get so far then you have to carry it to a point, making it near useless as you cant hold and use the extension at the same time. Bought as an upgrade to a dying DC04 for around £215 we thought this would be the vac to end all vac's. If you've had a Dyson before you'll know how good they are. If you haven't then I would always recommend one over another make. The DC07 is in no doubt a good Vac. Carpets you thought were clean aren't when you use one of these. I have to say though I was a little disappointed. My previous Dyson was one of the carry ones, DC04. Small light and able. The DC07 is an upright with all the usual brush attachments. I got my second Dyson about 8 months ago, and I am so glad! After putting up with (what I considered)a second rate, albeit new cleaner, for almost two years it was wonderful to have what I feel to be cleaner floors at last. I got my 'other' cleaner as a wedding gift after my old trusty Dyson DC01 was damaged behond repair after 5 years faithful service. I really wanted another Dyson, but as they say, beggars can't be choosers! When I saw the DC07 on special offer in my local Tesco (where my mother in law also works so I got an extra 10% off :-) )I just had to spurge.
