Dyson, the name rings out as quality and consistancy, something i regret to say that i have yet to to encounter in the three dysons i have owned over the last 5/6 years...

The good thing that i cannot fault on the Dysons is the bagless system and the bucket on this model is brilliant, but like with all Dysons i have found that for all its technological advances in make the bag obselete it has failed in alot of other areas...

The Dysons i have owned over the years have seldom lasted very long, the motors usually burn out very quickly and at this you are probably asking yourself what the heckare they doing to those poor hoovers, and i have to answer... no more than what any other person does to their dyson. If the moror doesn't burn out quickly usually the drive belt snaps, easy to pick up in your local hard ware shope for a quid or so but i'm now on my 3rd in a year!! on top of that the last Dysons the wand has snapped and like my current DC07 i have a penny lodged in the bend of the wand which renders it useless as it won't budge, also the attachments fall off the dyson if you breathe in it's general direction, Highly annoying!!!

I have found all in all that Dyson have been a let down, they have redeemed themselves with the clever bucket facility on the 07 but really it is as unreliable as previous models and once this one dies i will be looking else where...
