this Dyson is my second one, the first lasted 6 years and the only reason I got rid of it was that some of the plastic tubing was starting to rip. The first thing I noticed about this Dyson is it's much lighter than my old one and also quieter. Sometimes with the old one I felt like my arm would fall off after doing the whole house but this one really makes hoovering easier. The suction is still good and the quality of suction stays the same whether you have it on carpet or hard floor option. Am still not sure if its lighter weight will mean its made from not so good quality parts, but its doing a good job at the moment. I brought this model a few months ago and I have found it to be one of the best vacuume cleaners on the market. Having two dogs means that I am often needing to hoover up the fur as they molt and most cleaners simply do not have enough suction. This model however is perfect, it has great suction, it easy to manouvre and any blockages can be easily removed as the machine can be easily taken apart from many places. This model is also one of the easiest to empty with the clip which holds on the bagless compartment is can easily be emptied into a bin and clipped back together again without having to touch any of the dirt with your fingers.
