Here's Dyson's description with my notes Patented Root12Cyclone technology - little whirly vortices that concentrate the suction Low reach floor tool - you can get it under quite low bookshelves, for example No filters to buy - one comes with it BAF Seal of Approval High velocity airflow tools Car cleaning - two of the heads are particularly useful here Suction release trigger - if it gobbles up something unwontedly, this makes it easy to release it Ergonomic wand handle - suppopsedly designed to fit your body! Adjustable wand -it telescopes by about half Removable tool holster - see note below Sits on the ... Read the complete review

Normally I am not a fan of dyson at all. My experiences with the uprights have been awful. The belts are impossible to change, the suction is not very good and they are extremely expensive for what you get. A friend of the family bought this Dyson but found it difficult to use and wanted to change to an upright and asked if we wanted it. Being not a fan of dysons I said i would try it out to see what it was like. To my delight it is a very good dyson and picks up extremely well. It is very easy to clean and requires little maintenance. No filters have to be purchased as the one built in can be washed, which i have done many times, and it keeps the ... I've had two cats and a crap hoover for far too long. Well, nine months. Nine months of hoovering a carpet with just the sucky tube of the hoover on my hands and knees, and still the cat hair clung fast. I decided it was time to make a change: and so I went straight to the fridge, where we write our major purchases in magnetic fridge letters: a list that makes us concentrate on saving a little bit extra to get what we really want. And there it sat, for about four months: "DYSON". "Hoover" is a word that is rapidly vanishing from my vocabulary. Normally when I make a decision to buy something, it's the quickest and cheapest option I ... Read the complete review

Dyson DC08 Origin Dark Steel/Yellow Cylinder Cleaner. ---------- ----------- ----------- ----------- ----------- ----------- As far as luck with household electricals go with me it is all or nothing at all as when one seems to come to the end of its life cycle all the others soon follow in its footsteps. Any way that is my little moan out of the way, back to the reviewing. I recently found myself having to replace my old vacuum cleaner when it reached retirement age and after searching through all the many makes and models with varied features I decided to go for the Dyson DC08 Origin Dark Steel/Yellow Cylinder Cleaner. The reason for my ... Read the complete review

Dyson has just introduced a new cylinder vacuum cleaner with EVEN more suction power and better pickup to remove more dust, dirt and allergens from peoples' homes: the DC08. The DC08 uses Dyson's new Root12Cyclone technology with 33% more suction than its predecessor DC05, making it the most powerful cylinder vacuum cleaner in the world. TECHNICAL FEATURES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The technical features on the DC08 include (*depending on model): - Dyson Root12Cyclone technology: uses 12 mini cyclones to maintain constant suction and also removes more fine dust from the airflow than any other bag or 'bagless' system, so the filters ...
