Advantages: The guarentee you get with it
Disadvantages: Loss of suction within few months
Dyson DC08. Ummmmm well it is Dyson one of the strongest brands out there for powerful hoovers. And it is also quite small and compact but is it really what it is sed to be?
I have this hoover and what I can say is that being that it is the first dyson hoover ever bought into the household it isn't in my opinion all that it is cracked up to be. You would have thought that it wouldve lasted a very long time but within a couple of months the air suction for the hoover had gone down dramatically since the first day of use. Also the main place where the dust gets stored that for some reason or another wasnt letting any mor dust enter allowing nothing to be taken in from the hoover. (There was no dust in that thing btw I emptied it) but still it wouldnt allow no more dust to be taken in. Lucky the shop give guarentee and they repaired it. I wouldnt recomend going for this model. Stik to 'Henry'!! (It's a hoover btw)
Summary: Dont buy get another model

- 30/10/08 Welcome to Dooyoo.
For starters its not a Hoover, its a Dyson/vacuum cleaner. And neither is Henry as they are made by a company called Numatic . A good start here in your review but could do with a bit more info for future buyers such as:
Cord length
Weight
N oise
Any smaller tools
Filtration

- 30/10/08 I'm rather a fan of upright Dysons and have not had such issues with them. I did have a "boingy hose" break on me which prevented the Dyson sucking but that was easily remedied and happened after many years use.
I'd be interested in how manoeverable this model is as I've never tried a cylinder cleaner. |
