Advantages: extendable handle

Disadvantages: loss of suction

I received this vacuum as a gift, second hand from a friend and was initially very excited (I know, sorry). Initially I was quite impressed with this vacuum, it had strong suction and didn't break my back when I was using it. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks later the relationship has dwindled! I seem to have to clean the internal filter most times when I use this item, it's lost a lot of suction since I received it. While I didn't use this item straight out of the box, I can certainly identify the determination quite quickly. I don't think I would normally have to empty this often, although I guess it does depend on how many people live in the house and therefore how much dirt is generated. The cylinder is quite big and you can easily see when it's getting full. Emptying is really easy, one click and the cylinder comes away from the main body of the vacuum and can then easily be emptied straight into the dustbin (make sure it's not windy though!)

On a positive note, the extendable handle is great. I'm quite tall and most vacuum's tend to make me bend over too far, but this is great because I can set the handle suitable to my height and the task at hand!

It's quite lightweight which, combined with the long cord and adjustable handle length makes tasks such as vacuuming the stairs easy to manage. I find that I only have to change sockets once and I can do the whole house.
It's really quiet to use, with my old vacuum I used to be really worried about using it because my neighbours have young children, but with this Dyson I'm not worried, I can use it whenever I like with little fear of disturbing others.

Overall a good vacuum that I would recommend, but try to get a good deal wherever possible.

Summary: work well initially but now not so impressed

Welcome to Dooyoo.
A good start here. If I was in the market for this I'd like to know a bit more info such as:

Weight
Easy to empty?
General maintenance
Noisy?
Long power cord or short?

Adding info isn't compulsory but it could inform buyers better. If you update your review or need help please msg me.

PS Check the inspection tubes as the Dyson could well be clogged or it may need a new filter if you are experiencing suction problems.
