Advantages: size, no bags

Disadvantages: faulty part, poor build

I had a bad experience with the dyson dc08 from the start which is very disappointing especially given its high price.

Once I started the cleaner it would lose suction within seconds and refuse to work even after cleaning out the filter as recommended by the customer service at dyson.

Unfortunately the dyson had a faulty part according to dyson and would keep getting clogged up so I asked them to send out a new part which they eventually did.

However this changed nothing and so I looked at the matter myself and it turned out the yellow part had a problem inside it where by it easily clogged up and it was not any of the other filters.

So I had to diagnose the problem myself and convince dyson to send out the correct part.

The machine now works but is quite noisy and not at all what I would expect from a pricey dyson - will just stick to a henry in future!
