Advantages: Long wand, on board tools, sturdy with fantastic suction

Disadvantages: Flex could have been a little longer.

The Dyson DC14 - What a fantastic machine. This is my 3rd Dyson and by far the best. The "all floors" name appealed to me with a mix of hard and soft flooring over 3 floors of the house. With a long haired cat I also needed to be sure that this was tough enough for the job, which it is, the continual suction is amazing and I'm constantly amazed just how much it picks up.

The onboard tools storage is great, everything to hand where you need it, no more searches in the back of a dingy cupboard for the "dooodahh". It has a telescopic wand, which has an amazingly long reach, it's great for stairs as the main unit is sturdy and stays upright at the bottom.

The dust container is super easy to empty, a quick flick of a button and you're done. Nearly all the parts unclip for cleaning and the washable filter is simple and easy to rinse out and replace when dry.

Overall a great vacuum cleaner and one I'd happily buy again.

Summary: An amazing vacuum that does everything and more.
