How I love my Dyson. I only realised this when my old one set on fire and I was without one, that said I still purchased another after all it was around 8 years old and I'd used it most days.

The DC14 is a great model. It's suction power is good and it has a nice long flex so I can plug it in in the hallway and do all downstairs. The tools are always to hand as they are clipped onto the top and side of the vacuum and as it a telescopic reach and a nice flexi hose for the stairs, I would however give caution when having the Dyson at the top of the stairs as I pulled it on top of me, believe me you only do this the once as they're very heavy! It's very good on hard floors too and doesn't blow away all the fluff etc when you're say hoovering a wooden floor.

Easy to empty with little mess just pop out the cylinder and push a button over the bin to empty and then clip back into place, easy!

Downside is it's rather heavy and mine is noisy but I think all it's other points outweigh that.

Summary: Wouldn't be without it
