the dyson dc14 is now my choice of vacum and i woiuld suggest if you have pets especilly long haired or you are allergis to dust then this is the vacume for you. It has strong cyclone suction which results in a clean carpet. it also comes with various different attachments making it easy to clean behind corners or in hard to reach places. Meaning that your house is actually clean not just looks it.The vacume is bagless and is very eay to empty and also you can actually see whats going into the dustbin meaning you can save any accidentaly sucked up items which would have been invisible in a bag. Also for a little extra money you can purchase the mini turbine head which is ggreat for reaching smal places for which your vacume is too large. Also being a dyson they last long, some may deem thenmt o be a little exspensive but trust me its worth it
