Advantages: Sucks up all the animal hair and dust without a problem.

Disadvantages: Fairly heavy and awkward to carry upstairs.

Having two cats it still surprises me how much mess they can make ! I got this hoover not expecting a lot, but it had rave reviews from my friends and family so I thought I would give it a go.
After piecing it together I gave it a test run and wow ! It almost sucked the carpet up ! Compared to my previous vacuum this was incredible. I happily walked up and down my rooms getting the satisfaction of seeing all the hair and dust getting sucked up, leaving a nice clean floor.
It felt a little heavy to begin with, but I got use to the weight and it moved with ease. The telescopic wand and the attachments are always fun to try out and they fit snuggly onto the hoover. The hose is very long. It reaches from the bottom of my stairs right to the top (13 steps) which to me is the perfect length. You have to remember to empty out all the dust and hair fairly regularly to make sure it still sucks up sufficiently and to clean the filters. Both these things are very straight forward and satisfying to do.
So far I've has this hoover 8 years and it's still going strong.
