We have recently purchased a new dyson and are extremely happy with it. Before our newest one we had our old dyson for 8 years and it was only right towards the end that the suction was not quite as strong and so I decided to treat myself to a new toy! The suction on the DC14 is outstanding. We have a lionhead house rabbit and when he molts, boy does he molt! Sometimes when you are sitting down you will see wafts of grey fur float past you. When he molts I just cannot imagine using a vacuum with a bag. We half fill the dyson in just two hoovers of the house! Now I know dyson cleaners are expensive but if you have a pet, I imagine you will make you money ... Read the complete review

When my last vacuum cleaner lost it's suction, i decided enough was enough and i should go bagless. and it was the best decision i have made. This is one of the most basic Dyson's available yet it's suction is superb. The worst thing about buying a Dyson is the first time you use it it sucks up all the dirt and grime which your previous cleaner has left behind. Truely horrific but at least you get to learn how to empty the cleaner quickly. Which i might add is extremely easy (even my husband can manage!). The telescopic arm is so long i can clean to the top of the stairs which is good because it isn't the lightest vaccuum. I also find it handly to ... Read the complete review

I bought my Dyson in the sales earlier in the year. Before that i had one bought from a car boot for £5 so anything was an improvement! I have two Long haired cats who seem to shed fur everywhere, everyday, I also have three flights of stairs in my house that are all carpet. This Cleaner is light enough to cart up and down the stairs-although it is a bit bulky-and its easy to hoover the stairs with this as the hose reaches to the top of the staircase. My carpet looked a totally different colour when i had finished using it the first time around. It picks up the cat hairs with ease and with the attachments that come with it, all nooks and crannys are easy to clean. ... Read the complete review

What a powerful vacuum cleaner. This is brilliant I use this at my sisters and she has managery of animals: Cats, rats, gerbils, geko, snakes, dragons... Which all make a lot of mess. Wow this get's rid of it each time and is so powerful with it's motorized head. It get right in to the corners and has a great telescopic reach to it which is perfect for her huge staircase it reaches right to the top! The down size is the weight of it, I'm use to it now...built up my muscles but at first was very heavy compared to my tiny dyson I have. Definate not for someone who is unable to lift heavy things like this. So easy to empty with the touch of a button ... Read the complete review

I bought this Dyson as a replacement for my previous one and I have to say I have been very impressed with how good this picks up. It doesn't feel too heavy when it is used and the suction on it is great. The attachable tools are also really handy for those hard to get places and the stairs. The emptying of the container is really easy compared to my DC01 and all the mess emptys from the bottom. The design of the cleaner is also nice being black and grey (instead of the yellow of previous models). There was only one overall problem I found with the hoover and that was the hose length to begin with but over time it is stretching further due to constant use. If you want a ...
