I bought this Dyson as a replacement for my previous one and I have to say I have been very impressed with how good this picks up. It doesn't feel too heavy when it is used and the suction on it is great. The attachable tools are also really handy for those hard to get places and the stairs. The emptying of the container is really easy compared to my DC01 and all the mess emptys from the bottom. The design of the cleaner is also nice being black and grey (instead of the yellow of previous models). There was only one overall problem I found with the hoover and that was the hose length to begin with but over time it is stretching further due to constant use. If you want a good hoover to pick up on carpets or flooring then I would highly recommend this and it is a good price and the 5 year guarantee is excellent.
