Advantages: great for picking up pet hair off carpets and furniture

Disadvantages: needs cleaning and maintaing quite often if use is heavy

after getting my jack russel i noticed my carpets never looked hoovered even straight after i had finished they were still covered in pet hair i decided to invest i a hoover specificall for this problem. you can feel the difference in power as soon as start using the dyson and my carpet started to change color! uit was cleaner after i finished than it was when i first moved in!

the only problem i had with it is that with a young child in the house and two cats and a dog my hoover is used quite often and loses power when it cleaning although cleaning it is easy enough and the cylinder version comes with a resuable filter.

it works because it has a brush to the hoover head to brush the hairs up off the carpet as your hoovering
