Advantages: Easy to use, the 'ball' is excellent

Disadvantages: Still quite expensive

When it comes to value for money, you don't get much better than this. The vacumn is something you will use a LOT in a house, so as the saying goes 'buy cheap, buy twice'.

Get a dyson and long term you won't regret it! Fort eh 5 year warranty recieved, this really does give you peace of mind.

12 months ago we purchased the DC15 Animal from Argos, who were selling it at the silly price of £170! Asda, Tesco, Currys etc were all selling for £300+

Due to the incredible price, I reserver online and had to go 30 miles just to get it, but for a £150+ saving, that was well worth it!

Comes with the standard dyson warranty, bagless, no loss of suction and is still running fine, and let me tell you, the 'ball' is really awsome! I couldn't believe how easy it was to use compared to the 'vax' I was used too. You only need to go over a spot once, and it has a great 'brush' button which lowers the roatating brushes to pick up any animal hairs etc.

The vaccum is very quiet in comparison to the vax and at the great price we got it for made it worth every penny.

Weigh up the fact also that you won't need to buy any more filters or bags, long term savings.

The bagless empty function is a very simple push of a button. The compartment disconnects, which you can then acrry to a bin and press another button to empty the contents.

There are probably a few others on the market now, but I really do recommend getting a dyson with the 'ball'
