Advantages: great suction, easy to use

Pricey, but I can't recommend enough for those of you with pets. The pet head special edition of this is more expensive, but the brush roller really works at lifting hairs off fabrics. The claimed battery life is short, but accurate, and the charging unit does charge well. It's not too heavy, and a good length with appreciable suction power. I think the design is a bit ugly but otherwise I have no complaints. The cyclone does work well and you can unload the hopper in just one click. It's a shame no-one has invented replacement battery packs for this so you can charge one at all times. It's quite easy to clean the visible parts of the hopper out, nothing too much seems to get caught in there but the hairs can get caught in the brush head and need to be cut out with a thing pair of nail scissors.

Summary: a complete godsend for pet hair.
