Advantages: neat, very well made

A wicked little machine, it's a bit dear for what it is but could make a real difference to your cleaning. Primarily used in our house as a replacement for a dustpan and brush which would have cost about £85 cheaper! Still, it does mean that my husband is more likely to clean the floor which goes something like this: he sweeps the laminate floor, collects the dust into a little pile then gets out his DC16 and sucks it all up. I'm sure there are loads more uses for it, but to be honest that's all it gets used for in our house! One complaint would be that it doesn't seem to last very long between charges but the beauty of it is that it is permanently on charge when not in use thanks to its great holder/charger. A great little machine but probably not worth the money unless you have loads of use for it.

Summary: worth it if used a lot, otherwise an expensive luxury
