More convienient on a daily basis (Dyson DC16)

Advantages: no plugging in just press and hoover , good for car and stairs

Disadvantages: bit heavy and you have to constantly hold a trigger

I have had this handheld dyson for about 6 months now and it is the best handheld cleaner i have owned . The suction on it is great , just as good as a normal vacuum/ dyson .
you get an adaptor with it so you can fit your existing dyson attachments on it which i have found usefull.
the battery life is 6 minutes continuous which i believe is more than any other handheld , it doesnt sound much but 6 minutes is quite enough time to hoover the stair case for example .
its much more convient to use this a few times a day to hoover under childs high chair etc rather than getting the big one out and plugging it in.
it charges fairly fast too .
it stores quite a bit of dirt/dust before it needs emptying and when you do empty it you just hold over a bin bag and press the button and it is ejected from underneath .
the handheld makes jobs like cleaning the interior of a car so much easier and i dont really know what i did without this

on the negative side , you have to permenatley hold down the trigger to vaccum there is no on/off switch and it is heavier than most other handhelds although its still easy to use one handed

Summary: Great purchase , great for those woth small or messy children
