Advantages: Compact, easy to recharge

Disadvantages: Not a fantastic battery life

I've had my handheld Dyson DC16 for just over a year now, and it's very useful for those quick jobs when you don't want to get the large hoover out, hoovering up crumbs or when you see a spider that you just have to get rid of quickly! It comes in very handy for quickly hoovering out the car too.

For a small handheld device it's a lot more powerful than I expected it to be.

the dust compartment is see through and very easy to empty at the push of a button.

As for battery life, it lasts from 5-10 minutes from full to empty, however I have found that if I stop and start it a lot then the battery does tend to run down more quickly. This doesn't sound like a lot of battery life but if I was planning to be hoovering for longer that this I'd get the large one out anyway!

For recharging, it comes with a plug in charging docking station which is easy to attach, and takes about 3 hours to recharge fully.

This a great little device!
