Advantages: Thoroughly cleans all floors, picks up dog hairs too!

Disadvantages: A little heavy to take upstairs - nothing major though!

I was given my Dyson as a gift, my good friend Ste had decided to hoover up some plaster so rather than unblock it he gave it to me and my how I am glad he did! After giving it a thorough clean it was as good as new and I am ashamed to say my house was a lot dirtier than I thought it was! Having 2 dogs who shed their fur none stop I have found finding the perfect hoover difficult, I also have a little boy so didn't want him sitting amoungst dog hairs and dust, the Dyson had the answer for this, the suction to it is completely out of this world and I also find I empty it more because you can see the muck and the last thing you want is your mother in law seeing how dirty your house was! A little on the expensive side £200 approximately but in the long run it is worth it, gone are the years where I had to change my hoover every 6 months, the Dyson is here to stay!

The Dyson isn't the quiestest of hoovers in all fairness but it isn't a bad noise unless something gets trapped underneath it and boy does it let you know!

The weight of it is quite misleading, when your pushing it it feels light but carting it upstairs isn't the easiest of jobs. It has extra attachments which do various jobs, there's the little foot which is perfect for cleaning up the stairs, there's the angled nozzle which gets into the corners and a brush which picks up them stray hairs it doesn't suck up, these all clip on to the main body of the hoover.

Emptying of the hoover is simple once you get the hang of it, it simple unclips off and back on, although it does need cleaning regularly so it doesn't become blocked.

General maintenence of the hoover is easy, you can buy spare parts in local supermarkets and they are easy to put on yourself.

The Dyson isn't the best of hoovers to get in small spaces but you can use the extra attachements to give the house a thorough clean.

Summary: The best hoover around, perfect for the busy mum and animal lovers!

Welcome to Dooyoo. A fair start here although even though it was a gift it would be good to know a price. Also try and focus on facts because these amy entice buyers. Details such as:

Noise
Weight
Use of smaller cleaning tools
Practical and Impracticalities; easy to put under low furniture? Emptying it? Filtration?
