Advantages: doesnt lose suction, attractive. gets the job done.

Disadvantages: maybe the cost. but qualitys worth that little extra is slighty heavy

i was a bit sceptical about buying this vacuum cleaner at fiest. At £155 i had good reason to be. however thought that it would be worth it since i am a clean freak. As soon as it arrived i connected everything up (hose going in to vacuum etc) which took less than 5 minutes and pressed the on button. i preceeded to vacuum the wooden floors then move on onto the carpets.

i was amazed at the amount of dust it picked up and the suction really is amazing. put together with the free 5 years manufactures gurantee and this is definately one of the best cleaners i have seen.

it also comes with a spot cleaner and several useful attachments. if you need anymore attachments you can buy them from their website.
as there is no need for vacuum bags you are also saving money in the long run as cost of bags are expensive. once the machine has gone to the MAX line you just press the button at the top which releases the Cylinder and you emptythe dust out into a bin or plastic bag and throw away. this can be messy if you put the dust into a bag but i would recommend emptying it straight into you bins. attaching the cylinder back to the machine is relatively simple. this dyson has been designed not to cause allergies and thats just an extra bonus..!!!
The only downside is that since the Dyson is quite small in size it does need emptying frequently so if you've got kids in the house prepare to be doing this alot.
with my machine i received several attachments including a brush tool, crevice tool, stair tool and the flat floor tool. some people may think that this is good but personally i dont have the time to keep changing tools when im hoovering. thats why i've changed the review to 4stars because i have actually used this product a lot more. the machine also has an auto rewind button. once you've finished hoovering jus unplug the dyson and press the auto rewind button (has a picture of a plug on it) and the dyson automatically retracts the cord.
also because i'm quite small and can barely lift heavy things i do find this machine a bit heavy to lift especially when im taking it up the stairs.

Summary: the best vacuum cleaner i have ever used. you'l be amazed at how quickly cleaning time is reduced
