... looked as though I had new carpets, picking up dirt and dust that I didn't even know was there. What it gives up in size it certainly doesn't in performance! The ball makes it easy to maneuver around furniture and the small head fits into gaps many vacuum cleaners wouldn't. Easy to carry up and use on the stairs and the handle slides inside itself making it compact and easy to store.
Overall well worth the investment, and with Dyson reliability I have high hopes this will last for many years....more

Ok so I'm not great with all the technical cyclone technology stuff, but I know a good vacuum cleaner when I use one and the Dyson DC24 is just that. Having finally given up with my old Dyson (it was about 8 years old when I was given it) I decided to invest in the DC24, it seemed perfect for me, small, lightweight and compact, after years of battling to get my old monster up the stairs I thought this would be worth the price just to not have bruised legs!
