We got ours from Amazon for £189, about £40 cheaper than Currys and Comet were selling them for in store at the time.

Setting up

It came with some basic instructions on how to fit it all to together, but I didn't need to use them as it was really straight forward.

Mine, so I assume all come with a 5 year guarantee which I thought was very good.

Size

This Dyson is very small, I would advise anyone considering it to see it in a shop first as I did as I have seen some comments where people have been shocked at how small it is.

I have a 3 bedroom house which has been newly carpeted, but I felt the canister should hold enough dirt to just be emptied once after each hoover of the house. Of course at first the amount of fluff that comes up from the new carpet meant I had to empty it about 4 times! But now the canister lasts one hoover around the house before the need to empty it.

It only weighs 5.4kg which means even me (a light weight) can pick it up with one hand easily.

Attachments

I love the way the attachments and cables store away on the hoover. It comes with a "combination accessory tool" which is basically for those corners and I use it for the stairs. There is a brush part that slides out for "dusting".

The 'Ball'

I love the ball feature. It really does work and makes it easier to hoover around and under furniture.

I can't comment on the ease of washing the filters yet.

Cleaning the brush

I know womens hair gets everywhere - but we can't help it! One of my pet hates with hoovers is the brush gets clogged up with my long hairs and I spent ages with scissors trying to cut it all out. Well this hoover lets you take the brush out making it so much easier to remove the hairs!

Overall
=======
I don't have any regrets buying this Dyson. It picks up lots of dirt and dust. It's easy to empty the canister. It stores away neatly. And the ball novelty actually works. I would just re-iterate to see this Dyson in the flesh before buying it as the size of the canister might put some people off and you may need to get the bigger Dyson.

Summary: Excellent Dyson, light, compact and picks up dirt really well.
