Dyson is most certainly the household name when it comes to vacuum cleaners.

This Dyson cost me the best part of £150 and I bought it primarily to hoover out our car after taking the dogs for a walk and to clear up after our small child.

On both aspects, this hoover does the job satisfyingly. The power of suction is quite impressive. (due to the Dyson digital motor being three times more powerful than a conventional hand held vacuum motor).. This makes it not only more powerful than other but also more energy efficient.

The DC30 is incredibly lightweight. weighing only 1.2 Kg, this makes it easy to handle and carry even when full. My parents, despite "maturing" as they would politely say, do not struggle at all using this product and are impressed at its ease of use and handling.

Its charging is fast. I tend to use for 10mins and charge overnight to fully restore, but I read that it advises it charges 3x quicker than any other of its kind.

As for ease of use, emptying the bin couldn't be easier. You simply press a button, when holding the vacuum over a bin to avoid making the mistake I did on first use, and the bottom pops open dropping the dust straight out. It is much easier to use this as a style specifically for the car, than the standard hoover.

Complimenting it, is a wide debris nozzle and brush.

The only negative is that it only has a 6 minute constant suction for every charge. I find it frustrating when it starts to drain.
