Yes, it sucks. But in a good way.
Member Name: xylophunk
Advantages: Really sucks, can transform (like Optimus Prime) for ease of use and stores LOTS of dust and lego.
Disadvantages: Big and heavy as one piece, but can be TRANSFORMED!
As a vacuum cleaner, for collecting and storing dust and tidying up lots of small things at once, the Dyson DC33 is very effective. Not having a bag allows for emptying with super-ease, however, there is the ever present danger that one could press the dust releasing trigger, which empties the dust storing compartment, before having reached the bin. This often happens over the recently vacuumed carpet. With user-stupidity aside, the Dyson DC33 has few other disadvantages. Because of its sheer size and weight it can be cumbersome to move around the house, particularly up/down stairs, so perhaps it's one for the big burly vacuuming men of this world. However, because it can behave like a transformer it can be made into a variety of differently shaped vacuum cleaners so the whole thing does not need to be pushed around at once. Though it can be challenging to figure out its devilishly tricky robot mechanics at first, once one has mastered reorganising the pieces of the device it is really effective for cleaning skirting boards, in corners and under things too heavy or annoying to pick up and move. The hosey thing can also be used for hilarious pranks... I'll leave those to your imagination. Its size can be a problem when it comes to storage, but as the Dyson DC33 is fairly pricey and looks a little like a piece of, ahem, "modern art" it can be safely left in a corridor or in the middle of a room for one's guests to admire. It is a great investment because it is really good for what it does and is hard-wearing and will last. For when it's finally been battered around too much, spare parts for Dysons are easy to get hold of singularly so your Dyson can be replaced bit by bit as different components are worn out, forming a sort of Frankenstein vacuum cleaner with a variety of different coloured pieces.
Summary: Overall, really good vacuum cleaner.
