after my old DC04 had started to see better days i decided an upgrade was in order and decided on this model. the first thing i noticed when i started to hoover was that it lifted my carpet, the suction is that strong!

i used a bag of the Dyson zorb about a week after i got the machine and it left the carpet looking excellent.

anyway about the machine, it has excellent suction and is very easy to dismantle and clean as it all comes apart, there are very few parts that you cannot remove and clean. this is very handy if you like me have a messy little girl and end up hovering up something messy! the hoover itself looks like new after over a year and has never let me down. the canister is very easy to empty with just a single button push.

My only dislike is that the hose "pulls back" because the suction is so strong! but this is not a problem unless you're hoovering the stairs.

i would say that Dyson are much more expensive than other brand, however, the hoover is of a far superior quality my DC04 was still working and is still working now as i gave it to a friend. i expect this one to live on just as long

my recommendation is to empty the canister after each use to ensure that the suction remains good and so that there are no nasties that may grow in the dust between use.
