Hi im Alan and I live in plymouth i have four children
and a dog. (and the missus Michelle lol).
Michelle's sister Kelli purchased a True Hepa cyclone power 1500 approx 6 weeks ago.
After using it for a week she found that it is was not very sturdy when the tools were being used.
As soon as there is any tension on the pipe the hoover falls over and has caught her youngest child a few times.
Kelli is very angry at the moment as after owning it for the first two weeks she was cleaning the settee and using the tool that is said to be a "flexi pipe" as you put any tension on to it the hoover topples over.
Its easier for me to show you the letter that kelli wrote to Electrolux than type it all out.
Electrolux is in contact with kelli via post
but the main concern is all the people here seem to have the same problem with their hoover as you see by the letter it is a dangerous hoover around young children.
If i could show you the photo i would but i will keep you all informed

LETTER TO ELECTROLUX

I purchased a True Hepa cyclone power 1500 approx 2 weeks ago.
After using it for a week we found that it is was not very
sturdy when the tools are being used.
As soon as there is any tension on the pipe the hoover falls over
as if this was bad enough from a £158 hoover yesterday as i was hoovering
the settee with the pipes attached the same problem happened yet again only
this time my 16 month old daughter was sat on the floor the hoover fell to
the floor as my daughter went to stand up she placed her hand on the hoover
to get up as this had frightened her her hand went straight up over the brushes
and it needed medical attention. And as if this was not enough talking to a few people
from the local area who have same hoover confessed that their hoover also do the same

and as there are no guards on the base of the hoover we believe that it was an accident
waiting to happen.
I HAVE TAKEN THE LIBERTY OF TAKING PHOTOS OF MY DAUGHTERS HAND AND IF NO REPLY IS
FORWARDED TO ME SOON I WILL HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE BUT TO PERSUE THE MATTER FURTHER.

yours sincerly

UPDATE
Electrolux have replied to this letter now and its in the hands of their insurers but meanwhile this danger still exists hurry up electrolux

A very scary scenario, I do hope that Electrolux feel that enough damage has been done to recall all of the products.
Since reading your report, we have removed the plug from our coatstand, (oops vacuum).
