Advantages: it's an upright, easy to change the filters, easy to empy

Disadvantages: none I can think of

Having two cats, I wanted a bagless vac, which was going to keep the carpet clean. I first had a dyson, which left me disappointed. I wasn't sure if I wanted another bagless vac. My sister had the 1500, and said I should get one. So I got one. It is one of the best purchases I've made. I've had it over a year now, and it still makes the carpet look good as new. I was surprised when it picked up the cats hairs, it has great suction, also being as it's an upright. You won't get backache. There is a setting depending on the type of carpet you have. It also comes with attachments so its' easy to get into the corners where the dust seems to gather. The filters are easy to change, also when you empty it, it doesn't leave a mess. It's very good value for the price.
