Advantages: Heavy duty machine; will withstand knocks.

Tank or vacuum cleaner? I must say I bought this for its attractive, clear blue appearance1 When I owned one of these, for the sum total of just over a year, it was so noisy it drowned out the sound of everything else in the house. In the beginning it was super-efficient and probably the best vacuum-cleaner I had ever owned. I recommended it to everybody and friends bought because of my recommendation.

However, over the months it became more and more noisy, despite changing filters and regular cleaning, and the pickup quality became erratic. In just over a year of normal domestic use, the motor blew up and this machine ended up on the scrapheap!

During its short lifetime, I found it heavy to use but very robust. The pipes were made of a good quality material and the machine looked as if it was built to last. The brushes and casing were super quality.

However, I became very disillusioned after a short spell with this machine. Maybe I was just unlucky and had purchased a "lemon". I would give another one a go, simply because of its stylish appearance and robustness.

Summary: Good looking machine. Cannot comment on value for money (see review).
