Advantages: Strong suck!

Disadvantages: short lead, needs emptying fairly frequently

I originally bought the Electrolux Cyclonic cleaner as a second vacuum for the upstairs of my house to save me dragging my heavy hoover up and down stairs and as a spare on when I ran out of bags for my older vac.
It quickly took the place of my older Hoover, as it was lighter, easier to manoeuvre, easier to store and picked up much better.

It's powerful for the size (1800 watts) and seems to pick up bits my old hoover missed. I love the fact that being bagless, if something goes up the hoover that shouldn't, I can always recover it when I empty it.

On the downside, it seems to need emptying every time I've used it, but it is easy to empty and the filter is washable. It came with a spare filter too, which is useful while waiting for the first one to dry out.
The lead is short, and doesn't reach as far as my old Hoover; I can just manage to do one medium sized room and half a hallway before having to move plugs-or use an extension lead.
It has a fast and efficient re-wind of the lead though, which is great and never seems to fail me or stick on route.
Its not too bad weight wise (around 13 lbs) and I can handle it on the stairs. It also sits nicely on a stair while hovering further up, without having it balancing on the edge and risking it crashing down.
A good all round cleaner which works well between carpets and hard floors and picks up well.
Even though I've been using this for over a year now, it's never lost its suction as so many of my old vacs have done.
