Advantages: compact, cheap, easy to use
Disadvantages: liable to break, attachments fall off easily
I have this vaccum cleaner - it was given to me in December 1998 as a present. I have mixed feelings about it - it has some good points and some bad, but I know I wouldn't buy one if I need a new vacuum cleaner. So, it is 2 and a half years old and it is still running. It is neat, compact, colourful and easy to manoeuvre. It is perfectly adequate for those of us who have small houses. The "tuck away cord" function is nice - no more tripping over wires. The nozzle clips nicely onto the back of the cleaner so it is easy to carry around and store. Bag changes are a doddle. Sounds good so far, yes? My problem with it is the nozzle tubing. Within 6 months the cartilage-like tubing began to collapse near the top, hence every time I vaccuum I have to struggle to keep the tubing open to avoid occlusion and loss of suction. Not an easy feat! But at least it vacuums. Also the attachments fall off constantly - I take them off before I start else it drives me nuts! The reason I have not replaced the tubing or the cleaner itself is that this product is so cheap, it would not be worthwhile. I will bear with it a while longer before replacing it with a different model. So, if you are looking for a cheap and cheerful little cleaner, this could be the one for you. But from my experience don't expect it to bear up to years of usage.

- 21/07/01 Sounds a bit like one to avoid! (the hose breaks and the tools fall off). I just like marking ops that have zero comments though - Tom |
