I bought my little Mondo vacuum cleaner about a year ago and am still chuffed to bits with it. I bought it on-line after shopping around, reading up about the model and managed to get it for an incredibly reasonable £89 from Quality Electricals Direct (http://www.qed-uk.com). Having always had uprights before I was a little apprehensive about getting a cylendar cleaner - I'd always been told that they weren't as good as uprights, well that was a load of tosh. To be honest I wasn't expecting to get on with this vac., but having had a couple of uprights wich were no great shakes and on the advice of my little brother [although I'm not quite sure how he has become an expert on domestic science!], I decided to plump for this cylinder and it's really quite good. It's nice and quiet which was a plus as one of my little ones was scared of the old vac. It has great suction, the bags are easy to change, 5 different power settings which is handy for soft furnishings and a setting for wood floors/lino, the tool storage is not great, but I don't often use them so that doesn't really bother me.
