When i brought mine 5 years ago these were retailing at around £170 each but can now be brought from warehouse outlets like hooties and latifs for £60

The hoover is a cylinder style hoover which has a 3 liter dust bag that is very efficient at trapping dust inside rather than blowing it back out of the filter like other hoovers i have used, the bags are available to buy from most supermarkets and cost £2.99 for 5 so are not going to break the bank.

The filter is easily accessable and is situated in the same lift up compartment on the hoover as the bag is, it is a washable filter but does need replacing after about 3 years but only cost me £1.75 to replace.

The hoover is light weight to use on stairs and any other uneven areas very easily, it is just 5.4kg in weight.

There is a handle on the top of the hoover to make carrying it easier, two buttons on the hoover, on/off button which can be operated by hand or foot and a cord rewind button that has to be pressed to wind the cord back in or can have the center of it pushed in to keep it winding back in all of the time so there wont be any slack in the cable for you to get tangled in wholst hoovering.

There is a bag space indicator on the front which is a green strip that has an orange piece that moves across as the bag becomes fuller so you will always know how much space you have left

The suction from this 1600watt hoover is fantastic, is copes with dust and pet hair without a problem.

It comes with an attachment piece that goes on the handle that has a feather duster in it, the suction statically charges your duster and then once used it sucks all the dust away into the hoover bag, this is ideal for blinds and ornaments and works very well.

the pole on the hoover has a push down piece so that you can adjust the height of it so will suite everyone from the realy small to the realy tall user.

With the hoover you get one large end piece that has a button on it to adjust the brush hight for short and long pile carpets and you get a small brush attachment for furniture which clips to the pole when not in use but keeps getting knocked off so lives in my sink unit.

My favorite part about this hoover is how quite it is compared to other vacumes, it realy is very quiet which means i can hoover of an evening when the girls are asleep without disturbing them.
