It'll barely pick up anything, and when it does, within a few seconds it'll have spat it back out onto the carpet! After spending approx 25 minutes to vacuum a lounge which normally takes around 7 mins to do, I give up. I felt like throwing the thing through the window. It really stressed me out.
After a quick wash of the filter and an overnight stay in the airing cupboard (the filter, not me!), refitting the cleaned filter restores good suction.............moreMore Electrolux vacuums

Good suction from this cleaner. Easy to use, easy to push around. Not too noisy either. Bin could do with being abit bigger, but no real hassle to empty it, easy peasy really. The hose, fully stretched, only reaches up to the 9th stair. Oh, and its quite heavy for the little woman to lug up the stairs. HOWEVER, this machine has, for me anyway, 1 monumentally huge drawback for which I could never recommend it. The filter.
