Advantages: Array of attachments Disadvantages: Short power cord I purchased this vacuum cleaner about two months ago from John Lewis to replace our very worn and tired Electrolux Powerplus 1700w vacuum cleaner. This cleaner is noticeably more powerful than our original Powerplus and the general quality of the product is much improved. There is a good array of attachments which are stored within the cleaner and it also comes with a small attachment that has a rotating brush head that can be used for hoovering stairs etc. The only real draw backs are the that the power cord is not long enough to reach from one room to another and the original reusable bag that comes with the cleaner makes the room smell of rubber while vacuuming. I purchased some original paper Electrolux bags from Ebay (www.dysondoctor.com) which were very competively priced and this seems to have got rid of the smell. The vacuum cleaner itself is easy to manoeuvre weighing only 5.7kg with two large wheels at the rear of the cleaner and a single rotating wheel at the front. The vacuum comes with a teloscopic extension tube for neat storage and a 4L dust bag which doesn't need to be changed that often. Very pleased with this cleaner for the money. Summary: Powerful vacuum cleaner for the money.
