When it comes to buying a new appliance for the home I m always a bit nervous as there are so many different makes to choose from, I don t want to make a mistake. I seem to get through hoovers like there is no tomorrow . In the past I have had a variety of sorts , cylinders to yank about all over the place, but must admit I do prefer the upright as they are easy to store. This particular hoover caught my eye, it is neat, clean looking( not some gaudy purple or yellow), and very inexpensive. 	Electrolux Vitesse Z4714AZ ... researched vacuum cleaners as I wanted an upright that was powerful to replace the old cylinder vacuum cleaner that I had. I saw this one for a bargain price and as it had a high wattage and many attachments, I thought I would go for it. I have to say that I am not disappointed. It vacuums my carpets to a great standard and having a 1 year old means there is always plenty of mess around. It is powerful and you really feel that you are actually picking up all the dirt. Because of the clear cylinder you can actually see that you are picking up loads from your carpet that you didn t even realise was there. The cylinder is very easy to take off and empty. 	Electrolux Z2255DZ ... for those who don t have a cat, think "Tweed," by Lentherique! You get what you pay for when it comes to paying for a vacuum cleaner under £100 these days and some consumers who have asked me for advice in the past will not be prepared to pay for any more. Sadly the Powerlite isn t a wonder vacuum cleaner; it does a few things well and it has a few features that make me wonder what Electrolux have been smoking! Out of the box came the Powerlite Pet Lover Z2255DZ at a cost of £59-99 and only needs slight assembly by the handle via two crosshead screws.
