Advantages: HEPA filtration, Cyclonic no bag, Seflf propelled
Disadvantages: Heavy, Hose does not stretch that far, On/Off switch not a good idea to be on handle
This is a upright bagless/cyclonic vacuum cleaner (hover). This is a light weight (21lbs), self propelled and bagless. The filtration is HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air Filter), HEPA filters gives a high rate of filtration and captures minute particles to 0.1 of a micron, that is amazing stop any dirt particles from re-entering your house. The design is futuristic its really cool. Self propelled and bagless, what more can you say? It is a heavy unit but very easy to push with the self propelled feature. Carrying up and down stairs is a bit difficult, but any vacuum over 20lbs is. No one else offers this particular combination. Hoover offers self propelled, Fantom offers bagless, and Eureka offers bagless and self propelled. Eureka has some unique marketing with the "Smart Vacs" like the 5191 with the "dirt alert", but if you need a good cleaning vacuum and don't care what it's IQ is, the 5190 will perform nicely. To date there have been no major repair issues and this vacuum is a strong performer. All specifications: 12 amp motor 21 lbs. 30 foot cord length True HEPA Sealed System Self Propelled Touch Control Handle Cyclonic/Bagless Cleaning Path Ready-to-use Attachments Stretch Hose Headlight On/Off Switch on Handle So my opinion is its heavy but I think its worth it because of its unique design and outstanding qualities.
